Have you ever heard the song Dark And Metric by They Might Be Giants? It’s on the Long Tall Weekend album and I wouldn’t be surprised if you said you hadn’t. The album itself is a bit of a deep cut and the track and this songs square in the middle. It’s never been played live, according to the TMBG wiki, but was apparently a big hit when it first appeared on Dial-A-Song.
