Once per week, I like to share post about songs that are not on one of They Might Be Giants’ major studio released albums with my paid subscribers. These are posts for the B-sides, deep cuts, and rarities. This is Kiss Me, Son of Extras.

On July 13, 2004, They Might Be Giants released a new studio album called The Spine. I’ll start posting about songs from that album on the weekend following this post (Friday for paid subs and Saturday for everyone.) Today, I want to start talking about a second album they released on that very same day.

The Spine Surfs Alone.
